Como se dice «ganar puntos» en inglés

Brownie points – Ganar puntos

There is no real equivalent in Spanish for this idiom. Basically, it means to do a favor for somebody or help them in order to ‘win points’ that you can use in the future. Maybe it comes from somebody who baked brownies for their boss in the hopes that he would remember them fondly when it came time to give out raises or promotions.

This should get you some brownie points.

I’m doing this to get some brownie points.

Working on Saturday will get youome brownie points.

Con esto deberías ganar algunos puntos.

Lo estoy haciendo para ganarme unos puntos.

Trabajar el sábado te ganará algunos puntos.
