Llamadas en frío – tan difícil de recibir como lo son de hacer – How to make cold calls easier for everybody.
You have just sat down to a hot dinner after a long day at work. Your kids are sitting down too. Just as the first delicious bite is about to touch your lips, the phone rings. It’s a company calling to sell you something. You have shown no previous interest in this company or its products. They are simply mass calling in hopes of finding somebody who is interested. This, my friends, is a cold call.
What you might not imagine is that this is difficult for the person making the call as well. If business isn’t coming in, they have no choice but to go out and look for it. In this section, we are going to examine some advice from cold calling experts. These tips just might make your life easier.
Did you know that people are more likely to say ‘yes’ in the morning. We generally have more energy – and tolerance – in the early hours of the day.
Also, persistence is key. Some studies say that, for 80% of the people, it takes five calls to the same person to finally get a yes. Five calls!
Another tip that will help everybody is to learn to take ‘no’ for an answer. Anger and annoyance rarely leads to a sale.
Bite – mordisco
To have no choice – no tener elección
